On a checklist of obstacles faced by reentrants following incarceration, Kurt Danysh believes housing and transportation sit near the top.

After establishing Tomorrow’s Neighbors, a Carlisle-based nonprofit dedicated to helping people successfully reenter society after spending time behind bars, the founder and executive director introduced the Cumberland House to cross housing off that list.

Now, the organization is preparing to check the transportation box as well with the introduction of its Ride 2 Work program.

Ride 2 Work will provide reentrants access to e-bikes to travel to jobs, appointments or other places. Continue reading >>>
