HELENA, Mont. — A nearly $1 million grant will be awarded to the Montana Department of Labor and Industry to support workforce reentry for individuals who were formerly incarcerated.
The funding, through the U.S. Department of Labor and Department of Justice, will support former inmates' transition into the workforce.
The $943,097 grant will go toward job training, support services and other career development services.
The funding aims to reduce the risk of former inmates of becoming reoffenders by offering them a new life beyond incarceration. Continue reading >>>
