Formerly incarcerated persons invited to give their thoughts on adjusting in the community after being isolated for a considerable time
The following was sent by CURE National in an effort to reach formerly incarcerated persons who were held in solitary confinement.

“I’m working on a story for Rolling Stone about solitary confinement. Specifically, I'm looking for an ex-inmate who was recently released from prison after spending a significant amount of time (over a year) in solitary confinement, and is in the process of readjusting to life on the outside. I would be grateful to hear from anyone who is in that position, or knows someone who is. My goal is to convey (to the extent that it's possible) the psychological toll this experience takes on a person, and the difficulties of reintegration into society afterwards.

If you can help, email me back at cure@curenational.org
